2 stakes – Shoot two arrows from each stake (plate).
4 stakes – Shoot one arrow from each stake (plate).

Number of Archers in Group

2 Archers – One Archer will shoot top & One Archer will shoot Bottom. Must shoot same target through 14
3 Archers – Archers will discuss which targets (top or bottom) they will shoot. Must shoot same target through 14
4 Archers – Archers will discuss which targets they will shoot. There is no specific rule to who shoots what, but only two archers per target. Must shoot same target through 14
Recommended way: Two outside archers choose top or bottom and the two inside archers shoot the opposite.
Alternate way: Two archers on the left shoot one target and archers on the right shoot the opposite
Archers will swap at target 15. If archers are on the outside, they will move inside. Archer is on the right side; they will move to the left side.
Archers must shoot all targets in numerical order. Archers are not allowed to skip a target.

Number of Arrows

Each archer shall shoot no more than 4 arrows at the Field or Hunter target. An Archer might need to shoot a max of 3 arrows on the animal target. This depends on if the 1st arrow does not score, and if the 2nd arrow does not score.

Let Down Rule

Archers can let down 3 times, per arrow. If archer lets down a fourth time it counts as a shot arrow and results in a zero.

FAN Target

Archer may start from any stake but must move left to right. Archer must shoot into correct target from each stake
Ex: 2 Target Face (Horizontally) – two arrows from left stake into left target & two arrows from right stake into right target. If targets are set vertically archers will shoot their assigned target at the start of the 14 round.
EX.: 4 Target Face – four arrows into same target.

Bunny Target

Archers on the left side will shoot either target 1 or 2 ; Archers on the right side will shoot either Target 3 or 4. An Archer cannot shoot a target that already has an arrow in it. Archers must shoot from top to bottom or bottom to top in order.

Scoring

If an archer shoots more than the prescribed number of arrows in an end, the excess arrow or arrows of higher value will not be scored. A penalty of one scoring ring (1 point and 1 X if applicable) will be assessed for each arrow shot over the prescribed number of arrows.
Any arrow(s) shot from other than a pre-designated position in the designated order shall be scored as “0” (zero).
